Is localizing extension listing somehow counted in CWS ranking system?

Hi Chrome Community, calling to your expertise and knowledge,

The question is simple - if I localize listing screenshots will it somehow improve rankings of my app in CWS (e.g. will CWS show my app more frequintly to users from countries I added new images)? 

Or is it more question of organic user conversion from App Page view into Install when someone let`s say from Japan see japanish text on my app screenshots and so more likely will try to install.

Hey Dreambuilder :)

To my knowledge Google has not shared information about what specific data contributes to CWS category or search rankings. That said, I definitely think there's something to be said for showing a user s screenshot in their preferred locale. Personally, when I come across an ad for something that isn't my primary language, I assume I'm not the target audience.
