AFAIK it's not possible.
Google Analytics, by default, doesn't track user journey across
domains.
You can track extension installs by opening a page like "Thank
you" on the same domain as the landing. (By opening a tab in your
extension on chrome.runtime.onInstalled).
By doing this, you can at least track conversion rates across
acquisition channels.
