Is there a way to edit browser css safe-area-inset-top with a chrome extension ?

Hi eveybody, since years many developpers try to simulate safe-area-inset, but for now the only solution is to use a simulator. 
It would be very great to simulate this css property directly from Chrome.

Do you know if we can edit this browser property using a chrome extension ?
