Hi everyone, and Oliver

My developer account was suspended and I can no longer sign in.

The stated reason was "multiple accounts used to violate policies," but I have only ever worked from a single account.

Account: diego.arma...@gmail.com
Extension ID: ffkgggpfimdabhlfomcfhpgbmjfdbhfh

Some context:

The account is not new – it has been active for years, with a clean record: no suspensions, no removals, no rejections, no warnings. The extension was published on 2023-12-28, has ~50,000 users and a 4+ star rating, and has never had a single policy issue.

I suspect the account was flagged automatically – possibly matched to another account through a shared network or device, which can easily happen with public Wi-Fi or shared workspaces.

What I've already tried:

The standard appeal process – rejected, seemingly without human review.
CWS support via One Stop Support – no response so far. Ticket ID: ....

Oliver, is there any way this case could be reviewed by a person? I'm confident a manual review would show there is no second account and no policy violation.

If reinstatement is truly not possible, I would at least ask for the option to transfer my extension to another account, so that 50,000 users don't lose a product they rely on. I can't do that without your help, since the suspended account has no access to the transfer flow.

Thank you very much for your time.

I think the previous developer account your extension was on had something related to malware/adware and they linked your clean dev account to the old one

Hi,

That sounds like the sort of error message you would see if your entire Google Account had been suspended. Is that the case?

If so, you would need to follow any steps made available to appeal the suspension of your Google Account as a whole, and we can't help on the Chrome Web Store side.

If you share your case ID I would be able to tell you if the case is still in the queue.
