Unable to publish chrome extensions

I'm unable to publish chrome extensions because Sri Lanka isn't available to select in the Country selection prompt when asked for the $5 payment. Is it okay if I use another country for this and publish the extension ?

Hi,

I believe the country you select is part of the billing address, so needs to match your payment card.

We know this is a common pain point and I'm sorry not to have a better answer.

I expect that wouldn't work as it wouldn't match your payment card, unfortunately.
