Ah, I see. I missed the part where DRM works in Chrome but doesn't on Chromium. The reason for this is that some sites (e.g. Netflix) require the browser to be signed by someone they trust. So self signed browsers will likely not work for these sites for protected playback.

We are also developing a browser based on Chromium and have encountered the issue of Netflix not being able to play. We saw that you mentioned the need for a trusted signature from the website. Can you please advise on how to obtain this signature?
when you pull the Chromium source, you only need to use codesign EV without any additional actions, correct? I am currently using Digicert's EV codesign, but it still does not seem to be effective.

By the way, does anyone have a contact for Netflix?
