Hello,
can you please advise how to export all open tabs of Chromium running on Android?
I cannot find a function to create bookmarks for open tabs, either.

For bookmarking all tabs -
1. Tap on the tabs button (the boxed number between the plus and the three dots, on the browser toolbar with the location bar)
2. Tap on the three dots
3. Tap on "Select tabs"
4. Tap on the three dots
5. Tap on "Select all"
6. Tap on "Bookmark tabs"

Does that help?

Then I guess they can be synchronised to your desktop Chrome and from there you can export via the bookmark manager.

Hi,

there's no such option "Select tabs".
Please check this screenshot for details.

Interesting... I have it. What are your Chrome and Android versions?

Here's the information about version:
Chromium 111.0.5563.115

Android 13

So I have "Select tabs" instead of "Group tabs" (possibly because I already have some groups) and I do not have "Exit".
Chrome 111, Android 9

I have groups, too.
You can verify this in the screenshot.

You are right, I did not notice/remember. :)
I guess it is an experiment of some sort, then.
I may check later if the code hides this behind an experiment.

I found this solution
https://github.com/machinateur/android-chrome-tab-transfer
that is working to export open tabs.

However I fail to re-open these export on the new device or on my PC.

Chromium is not Chrome. My guess is that Google decided the android implementation of the select feature belonged in Chrome.

This is not unusual. There are many features specific to Chrome which do not exist in other chromium based browsers.

As I suspected, this is a field trial. It might even be enabled for 100% of the users, but because it is enabled via the field trial mechanism rather than being enabled by default in the code, Chromium does not get it.
Once it is enabled by default in the code, Chromium will get it, too.

I think this upcoming change will enable it by default in the code -
