Lock-free struct & Parallel algorithm

chromium has high performance in single core，but with  in the Multicore Age most of core is waste，what about use  Lock-free struct & Parallel algorithm to Improve the phenomenon。like parallel html parser ， parallel css parser ，parallel layout，or use concurrent struct ， Parallel  find ， Parallel   copy，and so on。

Is there any progress on this front? Are there any plans to use parallel layout, CSS selector matching, etc ?
