Hi,
as simple as the subject line says. Though it did not start with today's builds. I use command line flags heavily, but I don't have time to experiment if anything would fix that. Thanks for any thoughts on this though!

PS: I tried my password 6 times, while the same worked for Google Dashboard at once...

I have an update: I get further if I turn oauth off, then the old sync dialog asks for my password, accepts it, gets me further to ask an app specific password, which I duly enter, and I only need OK sync --- but then I get back to the dialog box I got with oauth right away, which now says that I already set up sync with "another version of my Google Account password". Another version of my single password? What is this?

I accidentally left chromium-discuss off the thread, it is now back as a CC recipient.

If you do not know what it is, you probably did not set it up.
A passphrase is another security measure for the Chrome Sync data. It is used to encrypt your synced passwords instead of using your Google account password, if you opt in for it.

Sorry, what is a passphrase? I have my password, I can generate passcode with Google Authenticator (which was not asked in this case), and I have application-specific passwords set up on the web. I had no problem ever logging into other Google services, on the web or my iOS devices.

This might be it though.

But I really don't recall ever setting this up. (And I am usually not that careless about passwords, esp. Google ones) There is no way to check whether there is any passphrase, is it?
