Enabled Dev Tools workspaces, but saving doesn't save on disk

Hello,

Trying to use Dev Tools workspaces, as explained at

using Chrome 27 stable.

What I did after activating the feature:

* navigate to mysite.com

* Settings > Workspace > Added mapping: http://mysite.com    /Users/.../mysite

* created .allow-devtools-edit in /Users/.../mysite

Reload page. Sources > change a file > Save. File isn't saved on disk. 

Am I missing something?

Is this the appropriate place to ask questions like this?

Got this to work using the guide at http://devcoma.blogspot.it/2013/01/how-to-enable-workspace-experiment-on.html

(also added URL > filesystem mapping)

but now changes to sources don't reflect in the current document, just on disk.

Changing values via Inspector (e.g. a CSS property) reflect in document, but not in Sources.
