Hi there

I'm one of the developers at AgileBits, makers of 1Password.

We're doing some testing here for iOS 11 and noticed that after choosing to fill an item into Chrome on the latest iOS 11 developer beta (8) that Chrome will crash (latest stable version as of this writing).

I've tested a few other applications and none of them are crashing so I'm inclined to think there might be an issue on the Chrome side here but would love to work with you to see if we can figure out if this is something we need to fix. Unfortunately since it's Chrome crashing I have limited options on what I can do to dive into it.

Here are the steps to reproduce:

* Goto any page that has a login form and you have a login item in 1Password for
* Tap the action icon and then 1Password's icon to open the extension
* After unlocking, choose the Login item for the site you are on
* The 1Password extension will dismiss

Expected Results

The item fills into the page

Actual Results

Chrome crashes and so far as i can tell nothing has been filled before the crash occurs.

If you'd all like to talk directly with me, please email support+appex @ agilebits (dot) com and you can ask for Kyle. I check the support side a couple times a day for emails from developers. I'd love to make sure Chrome and 1Password are ready to go for iOS 11 launch day.

Thanks

You can search crbug.com for an existing issue and star it. If you cannot find one, file a new issue using the "New issue" link on the same page.
Please, do not add a "+1" or "Me too" or "Confirmed" (or similar) comment. It just wastes the time of Chrome engineers and sends unnecessary e-mails to all of the people who starred the issue.

You can reply with a link to the found or created issue and might get triaged (and fixed) faster.

Thank you.

Hi Kyle,

Thanks for the bugreport. This looks like crbug.com/742554. The bug was fixed for Chrome M61, which should be in AppStore by the time iOS 11 is out.
