Hello,

At my company we have received some user complains about certain videos being no longer streamable through MSE starting with Google Chrome v86 (i.e. they are under v85)

I have tried to do the usual bisect using the bisect-build.py script to report it at crbug.com and then realized Chromium builds does not comes with the required video codecs, so... i was wondering how one does bisect issues in that front, if at all possible?

fwiw, the videos are mp4 (mp42 /  avc1.4d4032 / mp4a.40.2) and the error being reported is `CHUNK_DEMUXER_ERROR_APPEND_FAILED: Append: stream parsing failed. ...`, noteworthy as well those does work fine in Firefox or Safari.

Thanks.

I do not think there is much you can do on your own. You should just file an issue at https://crbug.com (if you cannot find an existing one) and attach a broken sample file to it.

Thanks PhistucK, just done so https://crbug.com/1142574  (been waiting to see whether a Canary build would resolve it or anybody else reporting the same, but nothing)
