Webview vs iframe isolation

What is the difference between Webview and iframe process isolation? I know the Webview allow to embed websites with cross-domain but what is the process structure difference?

Note - iFrames lets you embed cross domain websites as well.

<webview> lets you manipulate their permissions and some more functionality.
