Hello,

I'm new to the Chromium browser project. I need to build a statically
linked binary of the browser for my work. I've been looking around on
the web and find very limited hints...

Is there any instructions on statically build it?

Any help is appreciated.

Albert

The default build is statically linked. Just follow the normal build
instructions.

Thanks, Nico,

I followed the instructions on page: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxBuildInstructions

The produced binary, either in Debug or Release mode, still loads
shared libraries.

I'm trying to do the same thing mentioned in the second comment in the
above page: to produce a binary on, say Fedora14/Ubuntu10.04 then run
the binary on RHEL/CentOS.
