Hi all, I have a problem here...

I have a Oracle Application Server Portal page with very long url generated with site token.

Below is the result of my test:
Android: default browser, Chrome, Dolphin - Failed
Android: Firefox Mozilla - OK
iOS: Safari, Chrome - OK

Is this a know issue?

How long are the URLs (maximal length)?
Can you reproduce the issue with a long Google.com URL (along the lines of google.com/search?a-very-long-variable-name=a-very-long-value&q=the-search-query)?

I will check it later, when I get my hands on a device.
Have you tried a long Google URL like I suggested?

I get an error for that URL, Chrome complains about an empty response that it got from the server.
Trying the same URL with a few modified characters (google.com/search prepended and &q=chromium appended), I get to a Google search page.
Maybe the server has some issues.

I get a Google Search page using the same method: google.com/search?my_long_url  (Tried in my iphone & desktop pc)
That url is actually point to a load balancer.

So maybe the load balancer has some issues, or maybe it has some routing rules that messes up the processes for these kinds of URLs and user agents.

hmmm.. I don't think so. If this is the case then all browser should appear the same result. why only Android browser (except Firefox Mozilla) acting abnormal?

I also mentioned user agents (user agent string) as a culprit for responding differently.
Have you tried clearing the cookies? I ran into similar issues and it was cookie related.
