Remove Minimize, Restore, Close Buttons

Is it possible -- without getting into the code -- to remove the
Minimize, Maximize|Restore, and Close Buttons from the title bar??

The whole point of Brett's answer is that the way the GUI is
implemented does not allow removal of those buttons (without getting
into the code).

It's not a matter of difficulty; it's a design restriction to disallow
their removal.

At least on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04 with Chrome 20.0.1132.57) it is possible to disable it the following way:

"Use system title bar and borders" in Preferences.

Don't know about other OS's.
