Usually, when I open Google Chrome, my Google account is already
signed in, but sometimes, when I open it, My account is signed out, as
if the cookies were cleared, but I never clear the cookies. When this
happens, I have to sign back in. Does this happen to anybody else? I
am using Chrome version 14.0.835.202 m.

Perhaps your Cookies just expire. Not every company uses permanent
cookies.

Yes, but this doesn't happen in other browsers unless I clear the

I get logged out after a long time of not using Chrome (well, of not using a certain profile).
Though, lately, GMail is occasionally not responding well (especially with regards to chat) and when I refresh the page in order to 'restart' it, it shows the log in dialog all of a sudden.

This has been happening to me for over a year now, and I'm about ready to look for a new provider.  There is no rhyme or reason to it. I go to check my email and 80% of the time the email is there.  I leave it open in my chrome browser in a tab and my computer runs 24/7.  Today like other days, I tab to check my mail, and I've been logged out.  I have no idea why.  It's my computer and nothing has changed from the day before.  I should be able to stay logged in as long as I want to stay logged in.  My security is my issue to deal with, not Google's.

Chrome version 27.0.1.453.94 m (why on earth am I not able to copy and paste that number?!)

The same thing happened to me at least three times in last few months (latest sign-out automatically yesterday). Though everything remains intact but for a few second (the duration b/w log-out and again sign-in) it was a nasty experience ... :)

I have 27.0.1453.94 m
