vertical/portrait video keep change orientation while playing

Hi,

I create a website for user to upload record video from mobile. video playing fine in HD mode but got problem 

when user upload portrait video. it keep streching the width while playing full screen and after a while got snap message in chromium.

I'm using html5 video tag to play video.

for example portrait video domension 600x1080.

if I set it height  300px  X 540px then when play,  orientation keep changing from 300x540 to 540 x 300. 

I'm using raspberri pi 3 model b running raspbian 8.0 jessie with chromium 56.0.2924.84 ( developer build) built on ubuntu 14.04

A couple of clarification questions:
- when you say "snap message", do you mean that the tab crashes?
- the orientation changing, is this the video element, the video frames or the page?

You may want to have a look at chrome://media-internals and see if there are issues there. Though, filing a bug with more info would help resolve this as we don't really work on bug reports on mailing lists.
