Sky Go android app has no picture on chromebook Asus C302C

For the last few days, the Sky Go android app on my chromebook has had sound only, and no picture on any Sky channel I try. I hadn't used the app for a while beforehand, but it definitely worked a few months ago. The app works fine on my android tablet. Is this a problem anyone else has experienced and, if so, does anyone know a solution?

My chromebook is on version 61.0.3163.80 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) (the problem happened also the other day on the previous version)
