I have a dual monitor setup at work. If I enter full screen, the
option to "Exit full screen" stays visible for a few seconds and then
auto-hides. If I move the mouse to the top of the screen, it appears
again. On my 1280x1024 display, I can easily click it. On my 1920x1200
display, the message jumps off the screen as soon as I move my mouse
down to click it.

Demonstrated here:

It's actually possible to click it as the option comes in or moves
out, but it's extremely difficult (had to click hundreds of times). Of
course, the F11 keyboard shortcut usually works, but sometimes it's
convenient to use the mouse when it works correctly.

Can anyone else duplicate this?

Thanks!

That looks like a bug. I did a search for bugs related to "fullscreen
multi monitor" and found this similar bug:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=77059

It would be helpful if you could add to this or file a new bug for
your issue.

There are (at least) 2 ways to exit the full screen mode, either on multi-monitu-setups or on single screens:

1. Hit the <Esc> key
2. Move the mouse on the full screen monitor. The video controls of the video plaqyer software will fade into the foreground. This video controlls also include a switch for full/normal screen.

A.K.

You are referring to the full screen API, I think the original poster refers only to the global, user initiated full screen command (F11/Wrench-->the full screen icon), which Escape does not disable and there are no controls other than the top bubble which immediately disappears for the original poster.
