Can't see star review ratings on Amazon

I just switched over to kubuntu 13.10 from Windows.

I installed Chromium, and when I had issues I switched to the official Chrome 64-bit .deb install.

The problem is when going to amazon and searching for *anything* (let's say microwaves), the results come back sans any little yellow stars indicating customer reviews.

If one clicks into a specific item, the reviews show on the screen, but they aren't visible when viewing a full list of items, making it very difficult to weigh an item's merits.

Obviously this is a single use case - but it has me pretty worried that I'm missing important pieces of information on any number of web pages.

If I didn't know better - I wouldn't know what I was missing!

This is on Version 33.0.1750.152 and the latest Chromium versions.

On Windows 33.0.1750.154 m (and every version I can ever remember on Windows), I've never seen this problem.

I've never seen something so bizarre before, and don't know where to start.
