Memory Limits

Is there a way to limit the amount of memory that Chrome has access to?  

Rather than letting free mem heuristics decide how much memory 100+ tabs should occupy (often close to all my free RAM) it would be great if I could just set a setting to limit Chrome to 8GB for example.  That way it can suspend tabs as needed to stay under this limit (the same way this works on mobile versions).
