Hi there,
I posted this on the Chrome help forums, was pointed in this direction.
I'm trying to find some information on disabling the scroll to change tabs feature on the current build of Chrome for Linux (36.0.1985.143 (Official Build 287914) running on Ubuntu).
I've done a bit of searching and can only find outdated topics and solutions. Seems like this feature used to exist for Windows but was removed?
I usually wouldn't mind a feature like this, but it activates upon scrolling on the edge of the screen in addition to the address bar. Turns out my mouse hand has a tendency to float towards the edge of the screen while scrolling a page, so you can imagine this would get super annoying. :)
To reproduce, simply move your cursor to the edge of the window until the resize cursor appears and scroll the mouse wheel.
Appreciate any help with this, and if any of the Chrome team happen to read, keep up the amazing work!
Thanks!
