I need to set policies for the default home page for Google Chrome 45.0.2454.99 running under under Windows 10. The computer is not part of a domain, so I am implementing these as local policies. I downloaded the templates yesterday (Sept. 21). I copied chrome.admx to Windows\PolicyDefinitions, and chrome.adml to \Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US.

The policies I set under \Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Google\Google Chrome are as follows:

Show Home button on toolbar:  Enabled

Use New Tab Page as homepage:  Disabled
Configure the home page URL:  http://www.mylibrary.us/

Action on startup:  Open a list of URLs
URLs to open on startup:  http://www.mylibrary.us/

These same settings work as expected under Windows 7. Under Windows 10, chrome://policy only shows ShowHomeButton as being set. The home page defaults to www.google.com. Is there a compatibility issue with the Chrome templates and Windows 10?

The policies you are trying to configure are not available on Windows
instances that are not joined to an Active Directory domain.
