Hi all,

I'm trying to find out whether the following issue has been reported. I don't see it in the bugs list, but I haven't been involved in the project, so perhaps I'm not using the right search terms.

This problem showed up for me when I upgraded my Linux system from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04. From searching the net, it appears to be an issue with both Ubuntu and Fedora releases.

Some details:
  • It only happens when using Wayland.
  • It only happens when "Use system title bar and borders" is unchecked.
  • Under these circumstances, double-clicking on the title bar should maximize (or unmaximize) the window, but it does not.
  • Triple-clicking will cause the maximize/minimize action to take place.
  • When using XOrg, instead of Wayland, double clicking works.
  • The same behaviour occurs with Google Chrome.
  • Other applications, such as FireFox, gedit, etc. work fine.
  • I've tested this with Chromium Version 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Anyway, I'm happy to put together a bug report, but don't want to waste people's time if this behaviour is understood.

Thanks!

Jim
