Extending Media Session API to expose action handlers

In the Media Session API, web developers can set action handlers for player controls like "Pause", "Play", etc

void setActionHandler(const String& action,

V8MediaSessionActionHandler*,

ExceptionState&);

I am looking for these handlers to be exposed in Media Session API so we can control using simple script in a standard way, similar to media controller API in Android.

void executeAction(key);

Is there any functionality that already exists in chromium to do this for Chrome browsers?
