visible distinction between loaded and unloaded tabs

i would like a visual distinction between loaded and unloaded tabs in chromium as i have had in firefox. in firefox i can specify tab styles in UserChrome.css to make it clear at a glance which tabs are loaded and which are unloaded. how may i do something similar in chromium?
