I have been trying to block the pop-up when the sites such as ndtv.com or timesofindia.com are loaded in browser. I have tried going to "settings page->content->settings->pop-
ups-> disable pop-ups" for all sites, and also disabled the notifications "notification->disable notification for all sites" option but still the popup is showing for ndtv.com as

"Get Breaking News Alerts From NDTV. We'll send you latest news updates through the day. You can manage them any time from your browser settings"

How to remove this popup. Please anyone guide me on this.

These aren't traditional popups as such, but ways developers have found of annoying you whilst bypassing anti-popup tools.

You may find an extension such as Adblock Plus might help with some of the in page annoyances.
