Hey,

I'm reaching out to discuss a challenge we're encountering related to the publishing of source-maps in our production environment. As per our security department's guidelines, source-maps can only be made available behind a specific header for enhanced security. However, I've noticed an issue where the browser devtools do not recognize the header added via a browser plugin. My suspicion is that this limitation is intentional for security reasons.

If anyone has insights on possible approaches to navigate this challenge, your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
Iven

Sounds like a fixable bug to me... You can use crbug.com to report this, be sure to attach a test extension, though.
