Interface has become very small

I use Chromium on Ubuntu, and this morning I installed one of the frequent updates requested by Chrome. However, when I launch the browser, the entire interface appears very small.
This is not related to the page zoom (which I adjust from the settings or by pressing Ctrl+), but the whole UI is tiny: from the URL bar, to the bookmarks on the horizontal bar, to the tabs at the top. How can I fix this?
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
The version is 140.0.7339.80 (Official Build) snap (64-bit).
Edit: I tried enabling the "Wayland UI scaling" flag in chrome://flags/, but it made no difference. Also, I noticed that dropdown menus open at the top left corner instead of next to the selected element, which shouldn’t happen.
