Hi,

As you all know over a period of time using the Chrome/Chromium browser it ends up hogging memory like hell ... i came across this option  --purge-memory-button that can help is such a high memory situation ... when i tried opening Chrome/Chromium with this option  --purge-memory-button It doesn't seem to be adding the purge button in the task manager as its supposed to.

Is this feature withdrawn or is it the the Linux versions of Chrome/Chromium browsers have not received it ... which would be very sad :(

thanks for looking ...
