Hey all,

I'm developing an app that uses geolocation - and to do that I need to test various states of permission.

This new feature in version 63.0.3239.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) doesn't seem to have an off switch. I understand why it's there, but as a developer it's quite a nuisance.

Is there a way to disable this?

Thank you!

What feature is it? Can you attach a screenshot?

You bet. This is from the console.

Wow. My apologies. I looked everywhere but there. Maybe that should be in the notification in the console? Or at least on the document referenced?

Thank you!

You can enable the permission on your site using the dropdown. See attached screenshot.

Then you won't be prompted to allow/deny geo permission :-)

If you need to test different states, you can also use Incognito Mode to test what a new user would see. CTRL + SHIFT + N (or COMMAND + SHIFT + N if you're on a Mac)
