KeePassXC-Browser does not attach to KeePassXCs database, if Chromium is installed as Snap.
Using this extension is quite useful.
1. What prevents KeePassXC-Browser loaded into Chromium from linking to KeePassKCs database?
2. Would it be possible to overcome this situation?
I feel that the result of my compilation (which kept my computer busy for much time) is much slower than the Snap-installed version of Chromium which I used before. This was especially pronounced when installing extensions: Chromium reacted very delayed when searching and displaying what is offered: It looks like Chromium is slowed down by a factor of 4 or even worse.
Did I compile a debug version, which is inherently slower because of that?
5. I would suggest to provide a Debian package to enable all Debian and *ubuntu users to use KeePassXC + KeePassXC-Browser without having to compile Chromium themselves. Compiling such big projects like Chromium by yourself is not the right study object for newbies like me. I just tried this to see if KeePassXC works with Chromium at all. But I am not satisfied with the Chromium that came out of it.
