Hi all
I've recently started using Chromium on Ubuntu but there doesn't seem to be a shortcut to close a tab.
Ctrl+W closes a window and that's it.
I've installed an extension called Shortkeys for a week  t o customize shortcuts but it interfered with other extensions so I had to remove it.
Am I missing something?

Either Control + W or Control + F4 should work. It sounds like either the Ubuntu Chromium distribution might have changed the shortcuts, or Shift might be pressed (or your operating system tells Chromium Shift is pressed), because Control + W is not supposed to close the window, Shift + Control + W is.
Keyboard shortcuts are not customisable. Extensions can add new ones, but not override browser shortcuts (or most of them, anyway, I guess).
