Disabling Automatic Google Translate bar

I've noticed this bug in the recent Chromium (and Chrome Dev)
releases. On ANY page, the Google Translate bar detects the language
as Greek, and even I have Chromium set to Hungarian, it wants to
translate the page into Vietnamese. So is there any way to disable the
bar?

Wrench-->Options-->Under the hood-->Uncheck "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read".
