I cannot fully fetch Chromium for iOS/Mac on macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

I tried to fetch Chromium project from my repository using Google Chromium depot tools on MacBook Pro (macOS High Sierra (10.13.4), Python version 2.7.10) but I got the error:

It looks git reset --hard and gclient sync  --with_branch_heads can help a bit. :)

Chromium was installed and now brings up all kind of advertisements while I am working on other projects.  It has also installed itself  at the top of m y screen and I can't get rid of it; I have had leukemia and thus have chemo-brain which doesn't allow my brain to function at top speed plus I am old.  I would like a number to talk either with google or the chromium developers so I can get rid of it (chromium).  Can anyone please help me?
