Hello,
I tried to find this answer but couldn't so sorry if I'm re-posting on a known topic.
My logic says that according to: http://www.chromium.org/developers/calendar
I can find the relevant chromium snapshot and obtain it from here: https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html

For example:
currently, stable version is 39.0.2171.65 and the relevant branch position is 297060. But II couldn't find it anywhere.
Is it possible to get what I want? I have only able to download the latest trunk snapshot which is 41.x.x.x.

Any idea?

Many thanks.
Guy

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion but I must missed something here.
I'm looking for Chromium equivalent version of Chrome stable version.
That is, I'm looking for Chromium version 39.0.2171.65...
The mini installer you have provided gives me a Chrome link...

Any other suggestions?
Obviously Chrome stable is built on top of Chromium build, I need this build, and can't find it easily..

Many thanks.

Oh, sorry - I thought it was Chromium.
I do not there is a pre-built Chromium binary equivalent to a stable Chrome version, then. There may be external pre-compiled binaries, but I do not think the Chromium project maintains such distribution.
You can always compile it on your own, of course.

Why do you need Chromium and not Chrome?

Hi,
  1. I need Chromium due to distribution legality issues.
  2. I don't want to compile the code, I need the binaries as-is.
  3. "There may be external pre-compiled binaries, but I do not think the Chromium project maintains such distribution" - this is a bit odd, Chromium has a snapshot repository (CD):  https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html which I believe Chrome consumes. I just want to be able to locate the exact build Chrome is taking for it's stable version but I can't find it :-(
Any further help here is highly appreciated.

The snapshots are created from trunk. The stable build is compiled from a branch (a trunk forked at some point and have changes merged into it).
For that purpose, the Chrome builds to which I linked are actually sufficient, since the primary distribution of the Chromium project is, after all, Chrome.
Other distributions compile their own binaries.
