Scenario: User is connected to the internet via 1Mbps connection and needs to download a 20GB file, but this would take about 2 days to complete.

Questions:

  1. Does Google Chrome's download manager have a default timeout setting that would eventually cause a download to fail if a particular download process takes "too long"?
  2. If so, what is that time limit?
  3. If so, would the user be able to "Resume" until the file is completely downloaded?

Thanks

3. That depends on whether the server supports HTTP Range requests/responses.
