Dear all,
I have deployed following extensions via Group Policy:

Google Drive
apdfllckaahabafndbhieahigkjlha
lf;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx

AdBlock
gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx

Chrome Remote Desktop
gbchcmhmhahfdphkhkmpfmihenigjmpp;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx

For some reason the Google Drive extension has not been installed. Browsing chrome://extensions lists AdBlock & Chrome Remote Desktop. The end users computer is running Windows 7 with Google Chrome 43.0.2357.65.
On C:\Users\staff01\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\, along with the other extension folders I can see apdfllckaahabafndbhieahigkjlhalf folder.

The above folder has following subfolders.
gbchcmhmhahfdphkhkmpfmihenigjmpp - Chrome Remote Desktop
gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom - AdBlock
aohghmighlieiainnegkcijnfilokake - Google Docs
apdfllckaahabafndbhieahigkjlhalf - Google Drive
blpcfgokakmgnkcojhhkbfbldkacnbeo - YouTube
coobgpohoikkiipiblmjeljniedjpjpf - Google Search
gmlllbghnfkpflemihljekbapjopfjik - Bookmark Manager
pjkljhegncpnkpknbcohdijeoejaedia - GMail
lccekmodgklaepjeofjdjpbminllajkg
nmmhkkegccagdldgiimedpiccmgmieda

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Google Drive is a default app that ships as part of Chrome. It should be
pre-installed without showing up in chrome://extensions.

Try browsing to the app's page in the Chrome Web Store on the user's
machine:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-drive/apdfllckaahabafndbhieahigkjlhalf

If the button in the upper right says "VISIT WEBSITE," the app is
already installed. Only if it says "ADD TO CHROME" are you missing the app.

Hi Bartosz
thank you very much.
Google Drive link on the webstore says "Visit Website" which means it is already installed.

Is this "Google Drive extension" different than the "Google Drive web apps" ? I have been asked to install "Google Drive web apps" which allows copying/pasting between the document/spreadsheet.

thank you

I have no idea, sorry. This is the only Google Drive app/extension I
have installed and I am certainly able to copy & paste.

The "Visit Website" button may be displayed regardless of whether the extension or app is installed or not installed, while the "Add to Chrome" button is only displayed if the extension or app is not installed.

The Google Drive extension available from the Chrome Web Store is different from the Google Drive app available from drive.google.com. Is that the Google Drive web apps you are mentioning?
