Wrong Devtools height of element?

Hey,

A colleague just found a "bug" where Javascript showed a different height (scroll/offset/client are all the same => height: 50px) of an element than the Chrome devtools(height = 57px). The Problem appeared in Edge 92.0.902.84 on a heading (not sure which size though).

1. Any idea how that could happen?

2. How are the Chromium Devtools determining the height of an element?

Maybe margin, or flexbox gap? Probably not.

Without code/test case, it is hard to tell.
