Is it possible to build chromium with system libraries on macOS?

Hello

I want to build chromium on macOS with system libraries rather than bundled, but document said it is available on linux only. I inspected files in build/linux/unbundle, some of them need pkg-config which is available on macOS and `generate_shim_headers.py` seems to work on macOS. Can I reuse these files and patch build/config/linux/pkg-config.py to make it possible on macOS?
