When I attempt to launch chromium with this switch nothing happens. I get a brief loading cursor, then nothing. Here is the entire path and launch options I'm using:
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\chrome.exe --profile-directory="Default" --single-process

I frequently hit issues when running with single-process and wouldn't recommend it for end-users. Why are you using --single-process? Maybe we can find another solution.

I just wanted to compare memory usage. I don't plan on using it regularly. However, it doesn't seem to launch.

AFAIK single-process is not supported/maintained for the cases when Chrome is the content embedder, but is definitely relied on by Android WebView, which always works in single process mode.
