CSS background blend mode:multiply no longer working properly in latest version of Chrome

Hi there, 

I recently noticed in Chrome - Version 46.0.2490.71 m

That the 

1. background-blend-mode: multiply;

CSS property Is no longer working. Instead of showing the background image through the transparency, it just shows a solid colour block.

It works fine on Firefox, but on Chrome it's not working. 

Is this an issue with the latest update or has Chrome got rid of support for this?

You can search crbug.com for an existing issue and star it. If you cannot find one, file a new issue using the "New issue" link on the same page.

Please, do not add a "+1" or "Me too" or "Confirmed" (or similar) comment. It just wastes the time of Chrome engineers and sends unnecessary e-mails to all of the people who starred the issue.

You can reply with a link to the found or created issue and might get triaged (and fixed) faster.

There seem to be severe issues with blend modes in general... mix-blend-mode: difference is also down -

I am not sure if it is more helpful to file an issue for every one of them than to have a general "blend-mode is pretty hosed".

Hi,

Yes this was working before the update...

But the trouble is that there are others dysfonctions on the page on different places of the page because of the presence of the    " background-blend-mode: multiply;".

This look like screen bugs if you scroll on the page or if you look at the screenshot...
