I was trying to open the javaFX web ( http://www.javafx.com/samples)
when suddenly chrome stopped working and displaying a black screen
within the javaFX embedded plugin, then i tried to open it with
mozilla firefox 3.6.3 and everything went ok, i was using chrome
4.1.249.1045 (42898). Does chrome support JavaFX technology??

I could access that URL without any issue -- It told me I needed to update my JAVA; which is OK since I don't have a JAVA runtime on my GNU box.

So using developer version 5.0.371.0 dev on Linux worked; perhaps you want to update to a beta version of Chrome?

I can't recreate your problem, everything seems fine here. It might be
a problem with that specific sample - have you tried other examples on
the site? Is it possible that it brought up the "Install JavaFX"
window and you accidentally clicked a window into appearing on top of
it? Or perhaps if you were typing, it quickly popped up and was
cancelled by a random keystroke (unlikely, but it happens to me all
the time with the Windows Update notifier trying to restart my
computer).

huh, interesting, I can access the samples page just fine but as I
clicked on the first sample it loaded just fine until it got to
loading
the actual sample it self, at which point it just seemed to load
forever.

OH, yeah, using 5.0.375.0 (44190) (nightly build from April 10.)
