Chrome was just released for iOS a few weeks ago (at Google I/O 2012).
The Chrome for iOS team is working on merging the changes and soon the port will be open source, like with the Android one.

Note, however, that Chrome for iOS cannot use its own version of WebKit/V8 in non jailbroken iOS, so it uses the iOS WebView control for showing the content.
There is no version (known, anyway) of Chrome for iOS for jailbroken iOS that does use its own WebKit/V8.

The idea of migrating Mac Chrome to iOS doesn't really make sense; "Mac Chrome" implies a whole lot of things--the entire UI layer to take an obvious example--that make no sense on iOS.

As mentioned, we're actively working on upstreaming iOS code in the Chromium code base. You'll see more and more of src/base come online over the next few weeks, for example. You can follow the build instructions for iOS every so often to follow the progress of what's building, but I'd strongly suggest not trying to do any work on porting the codebase to iOS at this point since it will just duplicate and/or interfere with what's being upstreamed.

You forgot (or intentionally neglected ;)) to include the group. I added it back as a CC recipient.
I am not working on Chrome for iOS (Stuart is), so you better continue to reply (click on "Reply to all") to the group instead.

Yes, I know for iOS We cannot use some some features like V8 and Chrome's webkit, but I think the other parts are also valuable, like net stack, the tcp pre-connect, when the ios workable version will come out, I want to use them , do you know how can  join them to help develope the version, at least I can help you to write test code ?

My english is not well, thank you reply me at first time!
