build/install-build-deps-android.sh won't work

Hi, I want to work with android_webview, so I went through setting up the android build. 

I have followed each instructions. Python3 is already installed. python-is-python3

is also installed. I even installed python2 and python-is-python2, but that gave the same error. 

I also ran gclient sync and it executed completely.

Yeah this looks like this just needs more special cases for newer distros adding. There's a few things in there already around the python 2 to 3 migration but it's still unconditionally trying to install "python" on the expectation that that's python2, it looks like. Someone with a sufficiently recent ubuntu install would need to work out what to update and send a CL.

Thanks for your input, yes, I was  running Ubuntu 20.10 and was able to fix the dependency of libc6-dev. I couldn't really do anything about the python dependency so I did a fresh install of the LTS(20.04) version.  But to no avail, it still is the same issue. I can't seem to build my webview project using autoninja as it fails due to the said dependency issue. 

How did everyone else here build their chromium on linux, assuming they were running off of an environment which did not have python2 preinstalled?
