Hello guys,

On my recent attempt to upgrade to most recent release of chromium-code, after building the code, when trying to run it i have the following error:

[13360:493708:0630/094030.237:ERROR:gpu_process_host.cc(1002)] GPU process exited unexpectedly: exit_code=31
[13360:493708:0630/094030.237:WARNING:gpu_process_host.cc(1436)] The GPU process has crashed 9 time(s)
[13360:493708:0630/094030.237:FATAL:gpu_data_manager_impl_private.cc(449)] GPU process isn't usable. Goodbye.

In my opinion, it is obvious to me that the GPU has nothing to do with this, most probably something else crashes the client-process.

Investigating more, i noticed network errors like the following:
extension_downloader.cc(757)] Failed to fetch manifest
OR
ERROR:network_service_instance_impl.cc(600)] Network service crashed, restarting service.

Current chromium branch is version 126. My previous successful maintained branch was version 122.
What could be the reason for this network issues? Did something in requirements changed significantly that could have caused this?

Many thanks

Hello all,

I have no idea what's causing this behavior. I've tried my best using various debugging and logging to trace all my code changes with the hope to catch the bug, but without success.
Been more than a month since I keep trying to figure it out... but it feels like I've hit a dead end or something... drives me crazy already.

Is anyone here to accept a payment from me and look over my project and find the issue I'm having?

With both the network service and the gpu process crashing you might be encountering a sandboxing issue. Have you tried --no-sandbox to see if that works?

dave.

Hello Dave,

Without the nosandbox param I only see the gpu crash errors.
Only when using --no-sandbox param I also see the network service crashing.
