Does anybody know where the settings-menu-icons of chrome are stored and how to change them ?

Hi everyone,

many of the chrome-icons are stil available  and editable in the .pak files of Chrome like "chrome_100_percent.pak" or "resources.pak" but yet I found no way to access the icons from the Settings-menu, least of all being able to edit them.

I think they belong to the (rather) new Material-Design.

Does anybody know where they are stored and how to change them ?

I assume you mean, for example, the "Recently closed" menu item that has a tab icon. Yes, they seems to be painted on the fly.

The icon itself is an .icon file, I believe - https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/chrome/app/vector_icons/tab.icon?q=file:%5C.icon+file:tab&dr.

Those files are usually generated from a SVG files using http://evanstade.github.io/skiafy/.
