Hi!

In Canary we can use MediaRecorder API, that allows to record a stream and construct Blob. I also found that there is MediaStreamRecorder which is not implemented yet, but seems serves the same purpose: record a stream and get a Blob using its getRecordedData. Could anybody explain me what is the difference in these 2 API's?

Thanks in advance!

You found an old draft of WebRTC (from "04 October 2011"), that probably incorporated a very early flesh of the Media Recorder API. Also note that it returns "voice", which is not defined anywhere. Just disregard this draft (or this part of the draft, at least).

The latest draft does not mention the recorder.

Also, next time, use either chromium-discuss or blink-dev, as this group discusses build issues and not general Chrome discussions.
