Hi,
When I try to cd to the src directory when trying to build Chromium from source, I get the error "The system cannot find the path specified.", even though it works for you. How do I fix this?

Hi,

I suppose it is difficult for those who read this question to understand your current status.  Let me ask several questions to understand your current status.
Can I ask you what operating system you are using?  Also, how did you check out the source code?  You might have a document or a web page you followed, right?  Listing up the commands you executed and what you have seen as replies are very helpful for me to understand your current status.  If I could not understand the current status from them, I may ask your current working directory, the result of `ls` or `find .`, and available disk space, which may have some private information and I do not want to ask in the first place.

Just FYI, but when I build Chromium, I usually visit https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/get-the-code, and choose the operating system I am currently using or the build target I want to build to understand the procedure.

Thank you,
Yoshisato.

I got the code by running "fetch chromium", and I'm on Windows 10.

Let me confirm.  Please answer yes or no.
You have downloaded a depot_tools zip file, extracted, and have that in the PATH, right?

You have python installed on your Windows 10, right?
e.g. What can you see if you execute "python --version"

Then, you have created directories like chromium and already cd to chromium, right?

"fetch chromium" you mean should be the instruction after this.
Then, is it possible for you to copy and paste the messages when you execute "fetch chromium"?
I believe it explains why you saw "The system cannot find the path specified."

Then, is it possible for you to send them to this mailing list?
